One trick I've found that seems to work pretty well against NPCs at least, is to fire mines backwards like you're doing in the video, while also corkscrewing, thereby shooting the mines in a spiral pattern. This seems to expand the net, so to speak, increasing the chances of landing a hit.

Pro-tip for bigger ships looking to bounty hunt or pvp/pve. Carry at least one SLF with you and at least two pulse turrets. Why? Small little fuckers like this.

I don't understand why they don't just untarget you and turn their gimballed weapons into fixed while you're in SR. Seems like he should have destroyed you, but he either didn't think to aim manually or just wasn't able to. Either way, he definitely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. :D

What do you use to assign a voice to NPC chat?

This is fascinating to watch largely because both of your ships are incredibly poorly suited to actually hitting the other. A few gimballed weapons on the FDL and they'd have eaten your lunch, but the meta is actually pretty crap at dealing with really tiny ships flown very well.

Point Defense is underrated.

ok so flaks are yes used in pvp... still not sure whether his screening ones weren't enough or if he simply didn't equip any (and why) also, noticed that at 3:47 you appear to have been hit by your own reverb mine :) tho after you repaired shield a little, your shield started out empty - is that because mine also depleted the shield (meaning it was at zero whole time), or you always start with empty shield after repairing it with afmu? and of course, actual information about mines "aiming" is of good quality. Requires skill to use effectively tho...

ok lesson learned: on big ships always bring SLF (with pilot), MRPs and AFMU. And somehow learn to somehow maneuver those pesky birds into my sights.

You could replace one missile launcher with a high capacity cannon and dispersal field. Keep that trained on your target and they will never have a lock on you as long as you can connect the shots.

Great fight. That's why I hate meta FDL Even when you are the one flying the least manouvrable/boost focused ship, they still keep forcing a jousting competition.

My Cobra boosts to that speed, why is your Eagle build not faster? Maybe a Courier would be a great option too?
